Look for a new shoe for your flat pedals next fall when Teva comes out with its first offering for cyclists.

Teva’s mountain bike freeride shoe is the Links. No price for the shoe was listed in a company press release.

“This fall season we’ve used our experience and technology to develop the widest range of footwear in the brand’s history,” says Teva president Pete Worley.

The brand collaborated with Teva athlete and professional mountain biker Jeff Lenosky to design the Links, a freeride mountain bike shoe with technical features. The sole, made from Teva’s proprietary Spider365 sticky rubber, was designed specifically to interface with the unique platform of a freeride bike pedal. The shoe also has flexible armor in key wear areas and uses “ion-mask” technology for complete water protection.

“Teva has supported the freeride mountain bike scene for years at the Teva Mountain Games and I’ve always been impressed with their shoes,” Lenosky said. “It was an amazing opportunity to design a product from the ground up and Teva didn’t compromise on any aspect of these shoes.”
