The feared final day of Tulsa Tough. Cry Baby Hill isn’t that long, isn’t that steep. But it hits you every minute and a half for as long as you’re willing to hit back.

Met this dude this weekend. His name is Tony Baca. I thiiiiink his son’s name is Mateo. And the internet loves both of them dearly at least based on my instagram research. Also, it’s Cry Baby Hill and he’s holding up a baby, get it, a baby, on Cry Baby Hill. Crowd loved this photoshooting by the way. Not your father’s soignier. Maybe not even a soigner. Alls I know is she’s from Austin, her name is Susan Seaborne, she has great friends, she says “y’all” sometimes, and most importantly, she applies glitter good. Dope. Kit. YEAH. This hill is real. And the pros do it like 30 times. The gnar mud seepage on the hill was a new feature for 2021. I liked it because it gave the whole day a Classics look if I’m honest. When I dip you dip we dip. The vibe. I like the energy here between photographer and subject. I’m just glad I was there to capture these two working the corner together. Pete Morris’ muscularly thick and delcious hindquarters dissapearing into the gauntlet which gauntlet was 5000X better without the barricades. I had nightmares last night about the sound of whistles. We need to have a conversation about whistles. How many is too many? Should you be required to get a whistle license. Etc. Also, this was also a crowd favorite. Last also, she was like dancing and shit, while balancing a bike on her chin.
