It’s tailored for a snug fit and looks amazing. The Men’s Wind Vest from Velocio makes for an ideal companion for cool morning training rides. It doesn’t pack down as small as other vests we’ve tried, but it offers ample windproof and water-resistant capabilities. And it will still fit in a jersey pocket.

The mesh back allows plenty of breathability, too. This was a versatile piece during shoulder season rides that started cool and warmed up as the ride progressed.

A low cut in the rear keeps you well covered, and a silicone waist prevents the garment from riding up. The collar is lined with a soft material for close-to-skin comfort too.

There’s no flapping or excess fabric at all, so it’s possible to still feel fast and svelte even with an extra later on. If you’re not comfortable with a snug fit, this might not be the best choice for you, though.

Still, with a large zipper and zipper pull, it’s easy to zip this vest on the fly. And a second zipper pull means you can vent quickly and easily without releasing the zipper altogether. Three rear pockets top off a well-designed and comfortable piece of all-seasons gear.
