Meiyin Wang (Hengxiang) won stage 3 at the Tour de Langkawi on Saturday, soloing to victory on the Cameron Headlands stage. Meiyin’s win garnered him the overall leader’s jersey and a healthy advantage in the classification.

Julian David Arredondo (Nippo) was second, 2:27 back. Garmin-Sharp’s Nathan Haas was third, leading a group at 3:11.

The 10-day Tour de Langkawi continues Sunday with the 168km fourth stage from Tapah to Kapar. The coastal stage should see a battle among the sprinters.
