The National Criterium Calendar hits VeloNews airways Saturday when the Sunny King Criterium broadcasts live from start-to-finish.
Isaac Howe (Kenda-5-hour Energy), Carlos Alzate (Exergy), Erica Allar (RideClean-patentit.com) and former winner Laura Van Gilder (Mellow Mushroom) are among the riders highlighting the preliminary startlist for the Aniston, Alabama, race.
Coverage kicks off at 12:00 p.m. central time with a full day of amateur racing. The professional events open at 6:20 p.m. with the women’s race. The men’s pro contest will start at 7:30 p.m.
Five cameras will capture the race in High Definition.

The event is the third stop on the men’s NCC schedule and the second stop for the women. Hilton Clarke (UnitedHealthcare) and former Sunny King winner Nicky Wangsgard (Primal-MapMyRide) lead the series.
The Sunny King Criterium is a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society and organizers hope to raise $10,000 in entry fees for ACS. The race has raised $70,000 since 2005.
