The 2014 USA Crits Championship Series kicks off Saturday night in Delray Beach, Florida, and you can catch every second of the action live on VeloNews.com.

The Delray Beach Twilight Festival opens the 11-event series Saturday with a high-speed, four-corner contest. The USA Crits series features some of the most revered criteriums in North America in 2014, with stops in Athens, Georgia, Boise, Idaho, Vancouver, and Binghamton, New York, among the races leading to the finale at the Gateway Cup in St. Louis on August 31.

Defending women’s overall champion Erica Allar (Colavita-Fine Cooking), Laura Van Gilder (Mellow Mushroom-Pink Siren Sports), Emile Abraham (Incyle-Predator Components), and Isaac Howe (Champion System-Stan’s NoTubes) are among the starters confirmed for Saturday’s elite women’s and men’s race.

Riders and teams will fight for points based on the number of laps led, intermediate sprint lines, and finish position. The individual men’s season-long classification carries at $20,000 prize purse, and the women will race for a $10,000 purse.

The broadcast from Delray Beach will start at 5:00 p.m. EDT and commentator Chad Andrews will call the action in Florida.
