Argentine sprinter will race a U.S. calendar in 2013 after six seasons in the first division

Cobo, Klöden among top names for Friday’s start; American Jamis-Sutter Home team will make European debut

Jamis-Sutter Home has reloaded the team’s sprinting and climbing corps for 2012, signing American Kyle Wamsley and Dutchman Peter Van Dijk. The squad also announced the return of a number of riders, including Luis Amaran and Tyler Wren.

The Jamis-Sutter Home team, known in the past for its sprinters, is bringing a balanced team to the Amgen Tour of California next week. With the recent addition of time trial specialist Tom Zirbel, the squad has a mix of climbers, strongmen and sprinters.

SILVER CITY, New Mexico (VN) — Folks started speculating Thursday when Tom Zirbel borrowed a bike from the Jamis team when he suffered a mechanical at the Tour of the Gila. On Friday the team announced that it had signed the time trial ace for the rest of the season.
