The 2011 USA CRITS series, which appeared to come to a premature end after the cancellation of Washington D.C.'s Capital Criterion, has bounced back with a new finale, to be held in Boston this weekend.

WASHINGTON, D.C. (VN) — Citing schedule conflicts, financial constraints and rider burnout, organizers of the Capital Criterium have canceled the October 2 event in Washington, D.C.. The race was scheduled to be the final stop of the 2011 USA Crits Championship Series.

BINGHAMPTON, NY — After 40 laps of racing at the 28th Annual Chris Thater Memorial, Theresa Cliff-Ryan (Colavita/Forno d'Asolo) won another USA CRITS event victory, her third of the five USA CRITS held so far this year.
